One glaring omission from Sony's press conference was the pricing of the PlayStation 3 Slim in the UK. We have however, just noticed that Amazon UK has put the console up for preorder for £249.98.
Amazon also has the item listed for release on September 7 2009, again a more exact date than "the first week of September" and have listed the console with the following description:
