Speaking in an interview after the recent CESA Developers Conference (CEDEC) in Japan, Media Molecule confirmed that the Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy downloadable content for LittleBigPlanet were 'very fruitful.'

Media Molecule also mentioned that this collaboration between the British and Japanese studios had been an amazing experience, and when they had met Hideo Kojima in the US last year, he mentioned that he loved the design of the Metal Gear Solid DLC, making the collaboration completely worth it.

Siobhan Reddy of Media Molecule said that they "make sure, when working with an external IP, that they add something to the LittleBigPlanet universe, and the Metal Gear Solid collaboration is one of the best examples of this."
