Anime is a growing industry with todays world. Naruto is probably the fastest growing and most popular of them all. While some people will agree and others will fight it as much as they can, we can all agree the games are pretty dang good. While I myself have not been a fan of the growing anime scene I was pleased when I started to play Naruto :Ultimate Ninja Storm.
The game follows the early episodes of Naruto, everything from explaining his powers to the final battles of the later 100 episodes. Naruto, in short, is a energetic ninja that has received powers from the sacred 9 tail fox. The game follows the original story by allowing players to roam the streets of Hidden Leaf Village, battle foes with a classic fighting system, and play several mini games for even more points and fun.
The anime artists behind each series have an act for phenomenal visuals. The visuals are so crisp and clean and every episode has something new to offer. Well Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm is no different. The creators have taken those visions from the show and brought them to life through the game. Right from the beginning you can truly see how amazing these guys are at animating and telling a story through a eye popping cutscene opening the game.
Instead of trying to create realistic characters for gameplay, the developers decided to stick with the anime look throughout the entire game. The animations, movements, and everything flows so well that you will literally think your watching the anime show while you play. The game has taken the heart of Naruto and transferred it into something amazing we can play for ourselves. While I believe the fans of the series will truly love this, I also believe new comers will become fans of the anime scene as well.
Now the visuals are not even the best part of the game. The gameplay itself is pretty unique and is sure to add even more excitement to the Naruto fans. The game is split up into two game modes, Ultimate Mission Mode and Free Battle Mode. Free Battle Mode is meant for those that like to battle friends or practice with others. Most gamers will jump right into the Ultimate Mission Mode and spend most of their time here. |
