- A new way of interaction - The DS, the iPhone and even Sony's SixAxis controller gave us a different way of interacting with the hardware, and therefore a different way of gaming. We'd like to see either motion controlled gaming, or a touch screen on the PSP2. Or even better, both, then we'd really have a gaming system that can compete with the iPhone.
- HD Video Output - The new rumors of the console suggest that the graphics card will be rendering the games in HD, so like the Zune HD, we want the PSP2 to have a HD Video Output so that we can hook it up to our TV and play in full screen.
- Better Online Multiplayer Support - The original PSP comes with ad-hoc and infrastructure wireless, although most games don't take advantage of either system. The games that do support online, usually allow ad-hoc multiplayer only i.e. PSP to PSP multiplayer, rather than a fully featured online multiplayer. Whilst ad-hoc may be popular in Japan, it's not so popular elsewhere. So with the PSP2 we want better (and more) online multiplayer support. |
