PS3Center: What The PSP2 Needs
Posted on October 24, 2009 by Shak

HD Ready PSP would be great

- A new way of interaction - The DS, the iPhone and even Sony's SixAxis controller gave us a different way of interacting with the hardware, and therefore a different way of gaming. We'd like to see either motion controlled gaming, or a touch screen on the PSP2. Or even better, both, then we'd really have a gaming system that can compete with the iPhone.

- HD Video Output - The new rumors of the console suggest that the graphics card will be rendering the games in HD, so like the Zune HD, we want the PSP2 to have a HD Video Output so that we can hook it up to our TV and play in full screen.

- Better Online Multiplayer Support - The original PSP comes with ad-hoc and infrastructure wireless, although most games don't take advantage of either system. The games that do support online, usually allow ad-hoc multiplayer only i.e. PSP to PSP multiplayer, rather than a fully featured online multiplayer. Whilst ad-hoc may be popular in Japan, it's not so popular elsewhere. So with the PSP2 we want better (and more) online multiplayer support.

WOW! These are my favoured features of the PSP 2.0: 1. OLED Screen = P 2. Having a built-in mobile (not the kind of where you have to change the SIM Cards for different networks) but the one where you can choose the network by not having to buy/purchase/swap a SIM Card but just inputing data from your credit card into the PSP2 and WOOLA, there you have it! 3. Built-In Bluetooth. 4. Built-In Wi-Fi. 5. Touch Screen 6. Motion-Sensors (SIXAXIS, Shake Control and anything a bit more enthusiastic please, Sony). 7. Three Versions (Slider like the PSP Go!, Candy Bars/Solid Sticks like the PSP-1000/2000 (Slim and Lite)/3000 and finally a Flip-Flop = ) 8. MUST HAVE FEATURE!!! THIS IS THE MUST-HAVE FEATURE!!!!!!!!!! You know when the CD was released, there are now mini-CDs you know em kinda thingys, well how bout mini-blu-ray discs, or even mini-hologram discs!!! How about a mini-hologram-blu-ray disc!! You know, a hologram disc using a blue laser = P 9. Built-In Router. 10. A large amount of built-in memory! 11. Connectable to USBs, Mobile Headphones, PCs, PS3s, PS2s, PS4s, and Macs etc. 12. Proper Standard of Online-Gaming, you know, where you can race each other online, shoot each other online and blah blah blah. (Can the original PSP already do dat?) 13. That's only a fraction of my ideas, can't say em all here coz no one's gunna be lookin at em then.

Yeah, it has to have dual analog sticks! They couldn't have added them into any newer PSP versions since they stuck with one at the start, but now they can start new. I doubt backwards comparability will be added, besides for PS1 games, and maybe a select few original PSP games. It'll probably have an OLED screen like their new Walkman, which I own. I hope it has a new way of interaction, but I dunno. It definitely needs better multiplayer support and a bit better cross-platform support, maybe have trophies, too. Memory card-based games is a good idea, too.

Okay, I made mine a bit messy, okay, these are my main ideas. 1. It has got to look this good http://playstationlifestyle.net/2009/09/30/pspgo-launch-center/ 2. It's gotta have a built-in mobile and you can choose any network, you're not stuck to one PSP 2.0 SIM Card = ) 3. It's GOTTA have mini-blu-ray discs, you know mini-CDs, we need mini-blu-rays, they'll be EPIC!! 4. We'll need the quality of these games just as good as the PS3's. Like the original PSP-2000 Lite had the EXACT same quality gaming as the PS2, just a tiny bit better, such as Crash Tag Team Racing is a FANTASTIC Example, buy it for both consoles and tell me which are better, THEY'RE THE EXACT SAME EXPERIENCE!!! 5. OLED Screen = ) 6. Online-Gaming. 7. Wi-Fi Built-In 8. Bluetooth Built-In 9. Flip-Flop Version like the image you see ere: http://www.n4g.com/tech/News-416460.aspx 10. Slider Version like the PSP Go! 11. Candy Bar Version like the PSP-1000/2000 (Slim and Lite) and 3000 = ) That's probably it = 1 That's all the neccessary features I need to make me purchase a dozen of em, LITERALLY a dozen!!
