How do the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 versions differ?

The PS3 version comes with Knights of the Nine already included, whereas you have to buy it separately on the 360. Otherwise, they’re exactly the same game. Same content. Same level of performance. Same experience.

The PC version requires at least 512 ram, how did you get around this while developing it for the Playstation 3?

Well, part of it is that the PC is running an operating system that has its own requirements that we have to add to our own. Otherwise, being able to cache down certain info to the hard drive and stream things off of the disc and the drive is a big help. Obviously, we used a lot of the memory management tools we developed in making sure it ran and played well on the PS3 as well.

Do you plan on releasing upcoming expansions for the Playstation 3?

It is our plan to make Shivering Isles expansion available for PS3, but right now I can’t tell you when and how that will happen.

Is there any other projects planned for PS3?

We have a tactical shooter in development called Rogue Warrior that we’ll be talking a lot more about in the coming months. That’s all we have announced for PS3 for the time being.

Which Elder Scrolls did you personally enjoy the most?

Oblivion is definitely my favorite.

Volomon says:
I don’t think they were even aware there were SPEs additional processors for PS3, they didn’t use them from what I understand.  Although its an amazing feat that they got it to work as well as the Xbox maybe next time actually use them?
