Fans of Dragon’s Lair though are going to absolutely love this offering, especially compared to what was put out in the past.  It is a simple yet effective formula that to this day continues to work. 

There is going to come a time though when it may be fitting to try and re-work the structure which Dragon’s Lair is run off of.  Games such as Dragon’s Lair 3D in the last generation of consoles made an attempt to bring Dragon’s Lair to a more modern state but more is going to be needed to be done to come up with the classic formula which will appease both the fans from the past as well as new fans experiencing it for the first time.

The audio packed onto the disc is very well done for the Blu-ray format.  It is clear and crisp and sound absolutely spectacular with the right sound system.  Dragon’s Lair has never looked or sounded so good with the amazing level of detail the HD adds with colors, backgrounds, etc.

One thing which Dragon’s Lair fans may actually enjoy is the option to watch the entire game without having to make any options.  This allows you to go straight through the game without having to experience any of the death scenes and backtracking to choose the proper paths.  This is great if you want to experience the story all over again without the hitches of the death sequences but I recommend waiting until you get all the way through before you do that.
