The Boomerang the controller that almost made me buy a 360 or maybe even a Wii im still having my doubts about how fun its to flail your arms about for hours , Im glad Sony did change there minds

The boomerang design will not be produced by Sony. They quickly backed off the design after the huge E3 debacle, and I doubt it will ever surface again. However, I could definitely see a 3rd party Asian company developing an unofficial knock off at some point.

Actually there was a boomarang controller that look pretty much like the PS3 original design at Target. I saw it and started laughing because it looked really uncomfortable to hold. I forget which third party makes it but it's black and has the boomarang shape.

I think that's probably one of the things I objected to, but didn't really have it consciously in my mind - I just thought "hey, that looks uncomfortable!"

It actually looks very ergonomic. It probably rests in your hands easier than you think.

It's not as big as it looks, it needs a hand in that picture to be fair. It looks like a more comfortable design than the dual shock.

if it felt better than a Dualshock contoller i would get one maybe two but i find dualshock controllers very comfortable unlike the gamecube or xbox* controllers.

*Both the original and the 360's controllers.

doesn't everyone remember the flash version of the controller. it was built for comfort not looks. i mean come on, how many of you buy a controller just to look at it????? exactly, it was built for gamers who play over 4 hours, it keeps your wrists straight. how many of you can crack their wrists just by turning them???
