Ratchet & Clank future: tools of destruction thoughts

Anybody else got it yet? If so, what do you think of the game? If you don't have the game, are you going to get it?

Got it yesterday and I love it. Was going to be a christmas for my mom, but I it for her anyway.

I've only spent about 5 hours on, but it has been a great 5 hours.
It's very beautiful on a decent 720p set. The music is excellent. Still very funny.
Gameplay is fun, but it took me about 3 hours to get properly acquainted with the controls and I'm still having some trouble with it. Maybe it's because I don't play much R&C. But even with my problems with the controls, this could be the best game I've played on the PS3.

I too find the controls a little unwieldy, although only really in the gadget/weapon select. The avoiding traffic with the Sixaxis sections are a bit of a pain too.

Overall though, I've really enjoyed the few hours with the game that I've had so far. It is still very funny and the graphics continue to amaze me, mainly the sheer scope of it, especially in the city sections.

Looking forward to ploughing some more time into this over the weekend.

The Sixaxis controls will become easer to handle once you've spent a little time with them. I had the same problem as you, but now I love using the Sixaxis controls.

This was one of the games my son got for Christmas, and he loved it, he thought it was brilliant and especially liked the sixaxis sections. However, a week later he's already completed it and that's without really spending much time on it, so I'd probably say think hard before parting with £40, it's obviously a great game but for the money you'd expect something more challenging with a little longer lifespan.

I've tried the demo, and I would absolutely purchase the game. I found the gameplay was very simple and fun and the graphics were stunning. Also looks like the kind of game you beat very easily, there's nothing wrong with that, i just hope it's long enough.

It's not a game you can beat in just a few hours. Now I haven't played it in a while but I think it took around twenty thirty hours to beat and there's replayability. Maybe rent it one weekend when you've got noting to do. it's a solid game that I highly recommend. ^^

Love the ratchet and clank series and the jak and daxter series that's why i choose the ps3 cause it has all my favorite series on it :D

jak and daxter was only 3 games right? There was also a racing game as well i know that. But Ratchet and Clank is like in its 5th or 6th installment right?

they are talking about returning to the jak and daxter universe which i hope they do love that universe plus daxter has his own psp game.

I am pretty sure i heard it from our in store dvd we got where they are talking to the president of insomniac but they postponed going back for some other series don't remember which one might of been resistance dunno cant remember.
