Hi can anyone help me out?
My blu-ray drive doesn't play nothing anymore.
Its there any guide that can help me out fixing this problem or wath do you think should i do.?Thanks

how long ago have you purchased your ps3 ?
is it not playing blu ray disks or dvd disk and does it do the same thing to games ?

if nothing works, you might as well call sony. (unless you took your ps3 outside and played it out there, but that wouldn't be smart in the first place).

If its a 40gb, its a common problem with the cheaper laser, just get a replacemnent.

Not a cheaper lens, it is a user-side effect where people shut their PS3s down incorrectly when it is frozen, or just when they are to lazy to shut it down correctly.
Incorrectly is where you shut it off from the main power brick in the back, this causes most user-side PS3 problems.

the only right time to actually shut it down with the power brick on the back is when it is on standby but standby is actually the best mode for it to be on

Of course, I'm talking about when it is on, standby also sucks up a lot of power that with raise your power bill, unless you are going remote play you should use it.

shutting down the ps3 from the back is never and i mean never a good idea. you should never do it unless the system is off.
when it freezes just get up and hold the power button for 5 seconds and force restart it but never ever shut it off from the back.
no offense to anyone but idiots like that should never own something like that.
