Yep folks its official, Code masters get the license to make the next f1 game
Codemasters is certainly no stranger to the racing genre, having produced rally and touring car franchises such as DiRT and GRID, the latter of which is due out in Europe on May 30 (June 3 in North America).

However, Codies obviously isn't content with merely having those two racing games in its virtual garage, as the publisher has just announced an exclusive licensing agreement with Formula One Administration.

Yeah, that's been known for a while. I think they announced it early summer? I'm not expecting much personally, I'm not a fan of Codemaster's driving games.

Actually the announcement was just finalized. it was a bid between EA, Codemasters And Sony (which would have been given to polyphony digital) just hope its good

The article says May 9th? In any case, I wish it had gone to PD, an F1 game incorporated inside GT5 would have been amazing. With Codemasters, I'll probably pass.

I, for one, am fairly excited, because I played GRID, and it was fairly good, and I heard DiRT was good also.
