I have heard rumors of this floating around for some time now. Has anyone else heard anything about this or have any official announcements been made yet?

same here, but it would be cool but there gonna for sure take out alot of stuff
it wont happen since the ps3 is Sony's future a lot of developers are dropping the psp it just isn't worth it to them anymore.

Umm the PSP is Sony's answer to the DS so them dropping it is a large profit loss.
sony didn't drop it a lot of developers did there's not a lot coming out for the PSP anymore except the new resistance .

Yeah but they are not going to forget about the psp. even if they have to pay developers to develop games for it
i bet you they are working on the next psp or equivalent what ever it is called we will see it for sure within 2 years or so i am betting.

I think that this will happen because a while back, they had a job offering for making LBP on PSP.

Media Molecule was hiring PSP developers a little while back and now they are working on a "Secret Project". Yes LBP is coming for PSP...

The CEO of Sony in America has specifically stated that the new year will be focused on connectivity between the PS3 and PSP... Resistance is just leading the charge
