How much are you willing to pay for a PS3 ?

let's say, i'm willing to pay about 1000$ can to get everything, console, HDD if it comes out the same day, at least 2 games, a second controler and component cables, if not included

I will not pay a cent over $600 on the first day. The most i would get is the system, a hard drive or memory card depending on if the hard drive was released the same day and maybe a couple of games. Or I might just play a couple PS2 games for a while and get a PS3 game a little while later. I would like to get a HDTV though. Dang things are so expensive now a days.

Are we on this forum more richer than people on other forums or are we just more in love with the PS3 than others ;)?. It's nice to hear that some of you guys will pay the price (even if it's high compared to other consoles) but I guess that it isn't such a surprise, love is the word 8)

Well I would pay loads. If I could afford it, unfortunatly i've just got a Girlfriend(what do i mean unfortunatly) so I have to buy clothes, and lots of them. And wash them too. It's madness i tell you! anyways I wouldn't be willing to pay a cent over $399 (like £220 I think)

well, i think it's the only console worth paying the price, blu-ray comes as standard, as opposed to the 360 where you will have to BUY the HD-DVD extension, for how much you think, well, probably a couple 100, which sets the xbox 360 price at about the same thing or maybe even higher than the PS3

Well if you look at it, anything below 800 is good because of what you get. Blue Ray, cell, True Nex Gen system. Will be more powerful than a lot of stuff that costs twice as much. Just my opinion.

if most people think 500 is reasonable....400 they will think is a bargain....and if the ps3 cost 494 to make....sony could actually not even take a hit this time. if they wanted too.

If your worried about justifing your price you can alway wait till fall I mean think about RFOM/Motorstorm should be about 30 then you got a bunch of heavy hitters and Home cant forget about that . I think there going to drop the price a little like 50 bucks or something in the fall or close after which is still alot of cash but its helps if they do that.

I paid $800 for my ps3 and 2 games on launch day and I would say I've gotten my money out of it. I mean motorstorm is too fun and I can't stop playing Resistance!

Yeah they are , because when I read a God of War 3 preview they said rumble would be featured which makes the rumble/Six Axis going to happen , they'll probably show it off at E3 in July
