We're trying not to play with the vertical split screen. It's really confusing...
Can I have two different players use the same PS3 but with 2 TV screens?

If you have any suggestions, shoot 'em. Thanks. :)

I know you can shoot the ps3 out to two differnt screens but to have it actually realise ok player 1 over here and player 2 over here has yet to be added i think. So in other words i dont think this is posibly unless sony releases an update via firmware or something.

Most probably not possible. I don't think that the PS3 has anything integrated in the software which would be able to detect 2 monitors/tvs.

No this can't happen. You can send the same signal to two screens, but it'll just be a clone image with the vertical or horizontal split window on both screens.
The only way this could be done is if you had two HDMI out puts on the PS3, something it was supposed to have but was reduced back to 1 just months before launch to cut back on production costs.

Just get a second PS3 and play eachother live, that's what I do!
Otherwise we're probably one more generation away from having dual output.
