this game looks nice and sticks to the tried and true SF formula while making some cool additions


imo though, Rose doesn't appear that great, especially when compared to Chung Li or Crimson Viper, but oh well, they can't all be winners

Rose did come across a bit bland, but who knows, mightve been a rookie playing.

Picking it up on day 1 though ;]

i know SC has a different dynamic, but how would you compare these 2 games as fighters. i've played SF4 in the arcade and it was good stuff. i'll probably pick it up, but to me the SC series has grown somewhat stale. is the latest offering of SC any good? how's Vader play?

I've not tried the new SC, I was never a fan of the series, it felt a bit gimmicky to me personally.
The characters felt a bit bland but the graphics were always pretty good.

I dig the art direction for SF4 more though as Ive never been a stickler for my games being 1:1
with reality.

i'll be renting SC soon, but i'll be buying SF4 w/out even renting it as i already know it's gonna be a solid title

I hear ya bud... i'm buying all three and I don't think I'm gonna get much work done that month.

Back on topic though, SF4 looks to be shaping up as a highly competitive tournament fighter... I can see myself habitually abusing Fei Long's throw!
