Good lord this game looks amazing...
or rather, the videos look amazing... there have been absolutely NO gameplay shown!!! Only pseudo stuff that look suspiciously pre-rendered... I want more information (and so does half the world I'm sure)!!! But I don't read Jap, so I'm kinda stuck... Anyone know if gameplay style elements have been mentioned in interviews yet? Kotaku and Famitsu haven't said alot thats relevant

From what I understand of the battle system, you'll see the enemies on the screen at all time, but then when you touch them it's a seamless transition to battle. The battle system is the classic Final Fantasy active time battle, but you can have multiple actions per turn. Again, thats just my understanding of it, though, I could be wrong.

what if it were a FFXIII rugby demo?

Anyways, FF7 AC Complete sold really well, despite the movie coming out like 2 years ago. Even though they only added a few scenes and changes, poeple lapped up the blu-ray especially because of the chance to play FFXIII... Japan went nuts over it!

Can't wait to get my hands on an American version soon!!! FFXIII has all the makings of a blockbuster! And FFXIII Versus is coming too!!!

but I don't really care that FF7 sold really well because I don't like Final Fantasy, I did however like FF X-2 and FFXII a bit though

The FF movie is actually brought up alot in animations classes because they do such a great job with it. I think Resisdent Evil Degeneration was the only animated movie with better visuals in this type of style, just my opinion and im excluding big studios like pixar and dreamworks.

However if you dont like FF then dont bother with this game, like myself really. Im not really a big fan of FF, i dont hate it, im just not a fan. When they announced if for 360 it took a while to click why that was such a big deal, then you realize the fans of the series are much like Metal Gear fans haha. Like it or hate it type of game.

Also how come rugby comes up in every topic we have haha :)

i lurk a lot over at N4G and pay attention to all the fanboy discussions and i have to agree with one point

i think the multiplat will hold back the end result, only because they won't make it so that one version is dramatically different than the other

so i have to wonder how the game could have turned out if it was a PS3 exclusive

they showed actal gameplay at E3 it looked pretty amazing but GoW III looks just as good i think and they announced FF 14
