Yo if there was a FREE dedicated exterior server set up so that you can access your files on your PS3 ANYWHERE exclusively... Similar to what the PSP has but for other PS3s, would you use it to share files? Watch vids at your friend's house? Share music sets? Save files on the server as an uploading/downloading storage space?

Or is it pointless because the PS3 interface is clunky, and because dozens of other providers have the same service set up for PC's, mobiles and gaming platforms?

Really appreciate some input on this guys, trying to decide whether or not the idea will fly

I would use it, just because I'd have somewhere to store some files or what not exterior to my set up here at home, and i wouldnt have to pay for it

id imagine the server load would be intense and quit expensive to maintain. i could see it happening, but not for a long time and definetly not for free.
