What are the themes? Are they background for your computer, or something for the PS3, since they have the icons and stuff.

Btw, if this is in the wrong forum, sorry!

They are a background for the PS3 when you open the console or decide to change the Game/movie...one of the many cool things about the PS3

Yeah you can currently save them on a usb key or transfer the themes via network to your PS3, then apply them!

So I am able to make them on the computer for use on the PS3, or would I have to have a PS3 in order to make one?

No PS3 needed. using a program such as http://www.freewebs.com/ps3themecreator you can create a theme. and if you make one you can upload it here on PCN! :D

Thanks! I downloaded it and I'm trying to make a theme now, but can someone tell me how I can save the icons so I can just edit their colors?

That might motivate me to use something besides Sony's default :-p Too bad I can't use the PS3center.net Icon as my avatar for PSN now THAT would truly rule.

I have an idea for a whole series of about 32 themes, but being able to edit buttons would really make it a whole lot better.

Btw, if I make one theme then edit it a little bit, but enough that it is definitely different than the other, could I add them as separate themes, or would I just have to put it as an alt background for the same theme?

Sorry, but bump. I really want to get an answer and a website where I can get the buttons to edit.
