Metallica is my all time favorite, i grew up with the guys my whole life and they just rock.

Right now though i like TONS of differnt bands, im starting to get into girl singers. My favorite new band is In This Moment, very good lyrics and they just are amazing. Then there are others like Sirenia, NightWish, Lacuna Coil, etc... all with girl singers that rock.

My other favorites off the top of my head
5FDP
Linkin Park
Godsmack (Favorite other than Metallica)

There are so many i just cant think right now lol.

well, I wouldn't say that metal is taking over, but it is pretty big, but rap is still probably in control of the airwaves, or maybe even country.....for now

Id agree with rap but country is slowly fading away at the moment. I like some country like Taylor Swift or tim mcgraw but alot of it is turning into hip hop or is way to hick to listen to lol. There used to be alot of country stars every where and now there is like 5 major ones at a time. Our local stations used to have like 5 good country channels, its down to 1. Others turned into Rap or rock.

Recently, I've been listening to a lot of Panic! At The Disco, Evanescence, and some Shinedown. I mostly just listen to a random assortment of songs by random bands or singers.
