without creating a new account and starting everything all over again with saved data and stuff
because my dad might buy this and he'll probably use the old PS3 for him and i could use the slim to play games i wanna play online

Yeah your account can be activated on up to 5 PS3's at a time. When you get it just go to "PSN Account Set up" then click "use existing account" instead of "Create new account." It just asks you your email and password and i think your age you used or something, i forget off the top of my head.
As for game saves some can be transfered, others cant be due to some copy protection crap. However do realize that it will make all trophies locked. So for example you transfer over Resistance 2 game save, it will read it as a copy and not allow you to earn trophies UNLESS you start a whole new game. However, if you already got all your trophies they will transfer over by just logging in your PSN account. Movies, music etc can all be transfered along with your PSN games etc...

yea i know what your talking about with the locked trophies that happened to me in littlebigplanet iwas like What The Heck!!

you'd probably just have to re-download everything that you had on your other PS3 or just use a memory stick I'm guessing

yeah you can back up all ur stuff on an external drive if you want and reload it on ur new ps3
