okay heres my problem, I was playing my PS3 today, I was checking my trophies under the game part of the xmedia bar, then my PS3 just randomly froze, I had a similar problem on Thurday when I was playing Bioshock and it just randomly froze when I was playing

I just wanna know if thats a bad thing or is it just normal?

I checked to make sure that the fans are not covered and they were all clear

so what could be the cause of the freezing?

I dont know but my ps3 started doing it y esterday with batman. It was doing fine for a while but i was playing for a few hours, then it randomly froze in the process of swinging on a rope. MY PS3 never gets hot at all, i have 2 fans and an AC near it so its always freezing so it cant be due to over heating.

It sounds like it comes down to that new firmware update since we are only seeing all these freezing problems since the update. It's most likely that new What's New feature and other related c*** that is causing all the freezing because even before the update I've noticed that as my console has aged some games are starting to get a little jerky or load slower, especially Civilization Revolution and now with all this new c*** it is probably making it even worse.
