Basically you just make a short 6 minute film based on Assassins Creed and could win 10 grand. Granted its probably all professionals entering, why not give it a shot? Would be cool to even collaberate with someone here and do something extra cool.

Damn, my college has an entire building dedicated to media and production but I can't use it since I'm taking the Internet Application Programmer Course (two separate buildings) and while I have access to academic pricing, the Adobe software (http://algonquincollege.secure-shopping-online.com/algonquincollege/showProductDetail_en.jsp) I need for media production is still well out of my price range and I don't have a decent video camera, too bad too, one of my favorite things to do back in high school was video production, I did it well enough I was the one who covered all major school events (from shooting to editing), even made an entire DVD game as a side project for the local health unit in high school as well. Well, I have graphics editing software (Adobe Photoshop CS2) and experience if that's help to anyone.

I wish i had Premier Pro, got the trial and that software is so nice. I just use Sony Vegas, and while basic, its got some really nice features.

WOW ten grand i wish i had some kind of education in filmmaking
