I would love to have the ps3 center logo set as an avatar pic on my ps3 it looks cool

Sony distributes the tool (http://www.us.playstation.com/Content/PS3NetworkPlatform/Updates/img/ps3_themes/PS3_Custom_Theme_v101-E.zip) to do so from their own website, so as long as you have decent graphics editing software, you can create your own theme, well that and the ability to mess around with an XML file. Don't try and use Paint though, that just doesn't work for this.

i have the tool :) it comes with a sample folder of images and text/pdf files with the image sizes n stuffs and what to add to the XML filewhich you also get a template for).. sounds like a good comp dustin :) how many points we talking? :P also is there anywhere we can get hi-res images of the ps3 center logo?

A high-res image of the logo would definitely help because currently the only way I have to get the logo is to either download the flash file of the logo and extract a shot out of it or use a screenshot of the website and since the logo is a fixed size Flash file of not great size it makes near impossible to include the logo in a HD wallpaper for a PS3 theme.

I have a start on it, the file I have created for now is just a concept, all I've done is replace 5 icons within the theme to give people an idea of where I was thinking of going for an overall theme (Didn't want to do them all then find out something is wrong as there is 54 icons, folder images and pointers I have to change), the backgrounds are unchanged at this time due to some problems I was having with the PS3Center logo I obtained from a screenshot but my idea is two create backgrounds similar to the ones used on the pages of the website, PS3Center logo at the top, something in the background, possibly a PlayStation 3 similar to the forums. To see what it looks like on a PlayStation 3, simply click on the link called link at the bottom of my website (http://xtremeracer635.googlepages.com/myhomepage) on a PlayStation 3. Alternatively, you can click this link on your computer, save the file to a USB drive in a folder called PS3 and then a sub folder called THEME.
