Help hdtv help cant have a picutre... =(

Hey my name is michael and I got a ps3. I went to my tv in my room and i plug in all video output and sound output yellow to yellow red to red white to white. I go to the input(3) and theres no sound and stuff i got a tv its a Jvc tv plazema the reciver is O.L.S.T and i see no picture y!!!??

While your console is in standby mode (the red light is on), press and hold your finger on the power button for several seconds till you hear several beeps from your console, at this point your console will reset along with your console's video settings which should bring picture and sound to your TV. If it doesn't then post back here because something else more serious might be wrong.
