is the Wii worth it?/pros and cons of the Wii

I was thinking about getting a Nintendo Wii just for fun.

I don't really know why but I'm tempted to get one when I get some extra money or someone whos willing to buy me one

please tell me the pros and cons of it and if u guys think it is worth the money and your opinions on the system

I'll buy a wii when the next Zelda game rolls around.

Zelda and Metal Gear are system sellers for me.

It's not really worth it tbh, it's a fun gimick only for a couple of hours, like Jordan said, but after the whole "I move the character moves !!! WOW!" effect wares off it's just another console and that's mostly because of the the 3RD Party support, although its good, they just seem to make the same games rather than make anything new out of it.

Plus count in all the shovelware the Wii gets and the fact the graphics suck *** compared to both the PlayStation 3 and the 360, the recently released Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare Reflex for the Wii is a perfect example. Well that and the release schedule for titles that you might actually want is so long most people get bored with their console just waiting for something else to release.

the greatest game ever created.

I played bits of Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time, they're good, but for some reason I prefer the old SNES Zeldas.

man I'm looking for an N64 again anyways so when I find one, I will get both of those games for sure, actually I think I have played an SNES Zelda game, only bits of it though

If you have kids and a family it can be fun but other than that I just play my PS3, it's not like I sit down and pop in a Wii game and play, I only play it if my boy wants to play some Mario Kart or something like that.

The wii is lots of fun, but if you are a serious about your gaming I wouldnt go for it. Personally ive got a wii and PS3 and the wii is awesome for when aload of friends come round but when I wann sit down for some serious gaming the wii just doesnt cut it

My cousin has a Wii and it's awesome! Only problem is....it sucks when your playing by yourself. It's only worth it if 1)You have a lot of friends who come over a lot 2)You have family members who like to play video games and will play it with you.

I don't want a Wii, but it's really fun when people are around but other then that just stick to your PS3.
