Well with the first round over, let's hear from our hockey fans, is your team out, have they advanced and if they are gone, who do you want to see win.

Myself, more than happy to see the Capitals knocked out by the Canadiens although I'm annoyed the Sens lost to the Penguins. Hopefully now the Canadiens knock out the Penguins.

And while were at it, let's have some predictions, who do you seen winning the next rounds, maybe we can even get a small pool running using forum points.

Montreal made it to the second round I'm so ****ing happy.
they beat out the first place team in the Eastern Conference, so that's pretty good

Cant believe we get stuck playing the Red Wings. Was all excited until they announced the Red Wings. I hate that team with a passion....but then our team doesnt even bother to show up for a game 7 and wtf? I know Doan is a powerhouse in the locker rooms, but is it that miserable in there without him? Its like they didnt care at all. 50 shots on goal? Come on!

Either way, the Wings are still playing like crap. I call Sharks in 5, easy.

Since the Ducks and Coyotes are not in the race ive lost pretty much all interest in the playoffs now. Only reason I bother paying attention is for the Sharks, being they are in the same division as the Yotes, so hope its a good one. And we can say goodbye to the Dead Wings.

I'll join you there on wanting to see the Red Wings lose, ever since high school where we had one a****** who was a total fan and tried to rub everyone's face in it every year they did well I always wish they lose. Plus that series starts tonight so hopefully it starts off with a bang with the Red Wings losing.

As to a prediction in terms of my team, I see the Canadiens taking it in 6 games, the fact they turned things around shows they are in the groove now and after beating the best team I can't wait to see them take Crosby and his team down.

Trust me I know. Red wing fans have to be just about the worse fans in the world, with the exception of a few football teams. I went to a game and they were walking right into people, spilling beer all over the place, cursing everywhere, and getting right up into Coyotes fans faces. Its like dude calm the eff down and let us enjoy the game.

Then when the Yotes win they get all but hurt about it so there is no winning with them.

Well with the Canadians eliminated tonight my interest on the Stanley Cup playoffs is pretty much 0% now, the only thing I hope is the Blackhawks win the cup because thanks to a poster on another Internet website I was reminded that if the Blackhawks win the cup this year the Toronto Maple Leafs will become the team with the longest drought without winning a cup in the Original 6, something I would love to rub in the faces of my dad and sister (total Leaf fans). Am I falling to the same level as the Red Wings fan I hated so much, probably yes but when you're the one who gets to do it, why do you care.
