Gran Turismo 5 - Damage Details

Now in the lead up to the release of Gran Turismo 5, it was mentioned that there will be a damage system in place in the game with 200 or so cars featuring Premium damage but for the other 800 or so cars, people weren't sure if that meant damage would not affect those cars performance. Well as revealed by PSX Extreme it turns out all cars in Gran Turismo 5 will lose performance when damaged, the only difference is Premium cars can show a much higher level of cosmetic damage than non-premium cars. So regardless of what you drive, if you suck at driving, you will pay for it this time around.

So based on what im hearing. We are gonna get like 200 Premium cars then PD and Sony are gonna do what I hate about DLC and future "premium" cars will be like 1.99 each.

Still uncertain on whether or not ill pick up GT, someone once described it as the 'brake while turning simulator" and kinda summed up my sentiments.

DLCis pretty much to be expected from a title of this calibur, expect to see GT5 shift
massive units and PS3's as it is one of Sony's most lucrative if not the most lucrative
series under their belt
