L42 is Racist! Well by Someone's Standards.

I'll admit it, I don't like Valve or it's fat dictator but even I have to feel a bit of sympathy for them when this type of bull**** comes along. Apparently someone down at the Houston Chronicle by the name of Willie Jefferson has found having a few African American zombies in L42 is racist. As he writes "One of the games that comes to mind is Left 4 Dead 2 ... Set in New Orleans, players will have to fight their way through hordes of zombies - with several of them who appear to be African-Americans. When I saw the first trailer for the game, all I could think about was Hurricane Katrina and the aftermath." So as Destructoid points out, it's wrong it have even one African American zombie in the game apparently, so they all have to be white or better yet it's racist because there's no Chinese zombies. It's just like the Resident Evil 5 trailer controversy.

The funny thing is we could all just come out and say "ok no black zombies, enemies, soldiers, nothing" to be safe from stupid crap like this but then the next day you would see "game developers are racist by excluding black characters from games."

I honestly dont think racism exists to a point we need warnings anymore. Its a thing of the past and we should not benefit the race card anymore. Its people that come out and play the race card for stupid things like this that anger people and cause racism remarks. The same argument rests here, but its even more valid. He is completely ok with all the other races of zombies? That makes alot of sense...i honestly think this is racist towards caucasion americans.
