Halo 3:ODST amd Forza 3 Xbox 360 Elit Bundle

Gamestop is now shipping a bundle of Halo 3 ODST and Forza 3 with an Xbox 360 for the low price of $300.
Sounds like a great deal if u ask me.
plus the Halo Reach beta begins tomorrow for those who purchased Halo 3 ODST

edit: am I bad, it should say Elite, not Elit in the title

It's the Spring Value bundle and is available anywhere that sells the 360, ex. Futureshop and Best Buy (U.S). In total though, it's definitely a deal since both games still sell for $60-70, it comes with a 120GB hard drive, wireless controller and a headset.

This is a good deal. Is the RRoD taking care of though or is there still a high risk with the newer units?

From what I understand they have dealt with the RROD better so there's a much lower chance of that happening, that being said the RROD is an internal flaw with the 360 so the most they could do without completing redesigning the console was make it harder for it to happen so there's always a chance.

In all, from what I can find the failure rate is below 15% nowadays which is more inline with PS3 and Wii failure rates.

I didn't know the failure rate was that low now, at least they fixed it
