anyone played Splinter Cell Conviction yet?

if anyones played Splinter Cell Conviction, discuss your thoughts on it, it looks really cool

I've got it, just hadn't had a chance to play it yet. Will post some impressions when I get a chance, I am a big Splinter Cell fan so hope it's good.

So just had a chance to play it yesterday, played about 1 hour so far, and it's good, but it's no longer Splinter Cell. When MGS4 came out, you could tell that they had made a lot of changes to the game to make it more accessible to non-MGS fans, but it still felt like MGS.

In Conviction though, they've gone more of an action route, and the game ends up feeling more like Ghost Recon, but without the team gameplay. I've only played 1 hour or so, but so far you seem to limited, and there is no night vision goggle, so you end up playing most of the game in black & white (when you are hiding and undetected the screen goes b&w).

Also Sam Fisher looks too young, his voice does not go with his face, at all. Batman actually has some better stealth features in it, though it seems like Ubi copied some stuff from them.

It's still a good game, but like I said, it's not Splinter Cell anymore, everything is too limited, too targeted, and in some ways, too easy.
