Hopefully this will seal the deal on a price drop sometime next month to coincide with the launch of the slim. I am surprised to see the Wii still do numbers like this, you figure everyone would have had their fill of hair styling and sand castle building.

I would not have thought Prototype would have taken the number 1 spot, which leads me back to my original thought, hopefully a lower price point will sow more ps3's across NA and directly lead to a proportional increase in game sales

A price drop is diffinitley needed soon (real soon). With sales and very good attach rates for the 360 it will be difficult to make this up. You knonw If you look at the Playstaioin brand as a whole (PSP,PS2, and PS3) it sold over 400K in hardware. Not bad IMO. I am surprised to see Prototype doing well. I thought it had somewhat lack luster reviews. It seems the tables have turned into Xbox's favor this gen. Let's hope Sony has something up their sleeve to get the race back to somewhat even.

Update: Sony will need to do something quickly to turn this ship around. Microsoft is salivating at the mouth right now as we all know they love to kick the competetion when it's down and won't stop till it's dead. I have been readin a lot of "wall street" news today and it's not painting a pretty picture for Sony all around.
