yea or you could just make a good single player gameplay as well i mean it isnt liike the games that come out with both only succeed in one or the other but most of them have good online and single player.

Warhawk actually had a single player in development, but it was scrapped because they could never get it to work as well as the online or even make it comparable. How in the world would Zipper be able to make a single-player campaign that can match up to the 256 player madness of the online matches and still have time to make the online campaign as good as it should be. If we want games like MAG we have to be able to ditch single player so they can focus on making the online experience the best it can possibly be. Besides it's not like single-player games are going extinct, we got plenty of those for the times when online games are down or we feel like playing alone.

yea i know we have plenty of single player games to play but still i just dont get these big games that are coming out dont have single player i mean i can kinda understand MAG because that is a big venture but like SOCOM Confrontation not having single player SOCOM has always had single player.

Theres more that goes into it than saying make a good single player experience,
I have to respect a developer for recognizing that they would be putting out something they arent proud of and shelving it to focus on something with the potential to be great.

Exactly besides, do you really think a single player would have a been a good idea for Confrontation when it took Slant Six 6-8 months to get the online working well enough not to be unbearable, it still has problems to this day. Imagine how much worse it would have been if Slant Six had to split their time between the two, the single-player would have probably been a disaster and the online wouldn't exist, it would just be on the start screen reminding you one day it might work, maybe 2 years down the road.

lol well yea you have a point there if there was single player they probably would have told us it had multiplayer but it woudlnt be there at all and they will just patch it in later lol cuz that is what they have been doing so fare\
