Keighley definitely did a good job defending Mass Effect, but the guy they got to defend MW2 was an idiot. He froze up and didn't make any sense, didn't articulate his arguments well at all.

its only gonna be off the disk for russia right, cuz i havent got the game yet and i actually wanna play that scene

If that recall affected people worldwide, it would be much bigger news than just a PC World article, it's just Russia being stupid and getting offended at something, like so many other countries do, Germany is a great example of this as well (since they get offended by almost anything that makes a reference to WWII) although the number 1 country for being an ***hole for gamers is still Australia, since so many games have to be edited just to see a release in Australia, all because one ****hole in their government refuses to add a new rating to the system to allow for mature games.

Well it makes sense. WW2 was a shameful period of time for them and you think video games based on killing their people isn't a sensitive matter? Hmm...

Well still there's such a thing as being too oversensitive and Germany can fit that profile rather well sometimes, Top Gear has been in trouble with the German government a few times because they had a bit of fun that happened to reference certain events, I mean yes, there are times where doing so should be wrong, but there are also times where people overreact to things which are only meant for humor or entertainment and don't mean to insult or harm those affected by those events.

Well though I do agree they can be sensitive I think it's rightfully so.
