Hulu Is Coming to PS3

Yes as the rumors that suggested Hulu is indeed coming to the PlayStation 3 are indeed true as Hulu themselves revealed in a statement. More specifically Hulu will be available on the PlayStation 3 through Hulu Plus which for $9.99 a month gives you access to content from over 100 providers, including both current and classic episodes and access to all the episodes of the current seasons of 45 TV programs from ABC, Fox, and NBC. Plus a subscription will also give subscribers access to catalog of older shows, some of which will include the entire series run of episodes and if you have the connection to support it and if the show is available, 720p streaming will be an option.

If that's not enough, the PlayStation 3 is not the only platform for accessing your content now. Besides the normal PC method you will be able to access Hulu on the iPad, iPhone and some Samsung Blu-ray players. For now though Hulu Plus is invite only to select members although you can fill out a request for an invite.

For $9.99 it's definitely one killer of a deal and it might be something to turn some more people off paying for a TV subscription.

I disagree i think that this is a pretty bad deal when you can get unlimited streaming video for 8.99 from Netflix with the huge catalog of movies and TV shows that they have on there. the only difference is that i do not think you can get current seasons on Netflix but i could be wrong about that

Don't forget the 50 bucks a year for a Playstation Plus sub, which you need to have to get Hulu Plus. And I agree that Netflix is such a better deal.

Sort of, while yes, currently you need a PlayStation Plus subscription to access Hulu Plus, this is only during the preview/test phase. Once Hulu Plus exits this phase it will become available to anyone using the PlayStation Network. So as long as your willing to wait a bit for them to get the kinks worked out, sooner than later the only cost for Hulu Plus will be the monthly subscription cost.

OkAy thanks. I didn't know that. Though I still have a hard time paying 10 a month for stuff I can get on my TV as reruns. That's just me.
