2 TB memory stick

this to me seems to kinda take away from the whole PSP go thing if you are releasing a Memory stick for the PSP that is bigger than the HD in the PSP GO!

As Sony Insider points out in that article it will probably be years before a 2TB Memory Stick makes it to the market but also remember even when that day comes it's part of natural progression in technology, Sony isn't going to hold back technology used in numerous other devices just because it happens to cross over with the PSP Go!.

2 TB is quit a bit tho. i mean what the heck would you use it for

Imagine how much HD footage you could take with an HD camcorder, you would never have to swap cards, or take your entire video/music/picture collection with you on a memory card that's so small you could lose it easily or it could be your hard drive instead of traditional hard drive technology. Just realized too, compared to my current laptop hard drive a 2TB Memory Stick would be over 16 times larger and even my new laptop I'm waiting on would still be beat by 4 times as much space

Well now 2TB hard drives are in existence at 7,200RPM thanks to Hitachi and now SSD maker OCZ is releasing a 1TB SSD although at a cost of $2,200 a drive, even laptop hard drives are increasing with Western Digital announcing a 1TB laptop hard drive, although this hard drive only spins at 5,200RPM and is thicker than standard laptop hard drives making it incompatible with many laptops currently available but still at this rate we might be seeing the first 2TB Memory Stick's in less than two years, after all, I believe they are already up to 32GB or 64GB already.

I can't wait till these come out. I need one for my PSP, VIAO, and my Sony DVD camcorder with Mem Stick capabilities.

i wouldn't need one. my external HDD are enough for me. plus if you lose it youll be kicking your own ass
