Sorry for the Spam

Some idiots keep creating accounts to spam stupid crap....Im sure most of you have seen. Im doing my best to delete them all and ban the users doing it.

Actually most of them aren't humans at all, they are automated bots, hence why their spelling and grammar absolutely sucks *** and is a common problem among Internet forums (another one I frequent gets this constantly as well).

I would also like to apologize, I've been trying to delete as many as I can, but it seems to be happening more and more daily.

I try and report it as much as I can but it seems like it's been happening so much that it actually gets really annoying.

sorry if I sound dumb but how would automated spam bots work?

Basically the short explanation, some software is run on a computer somewhere which automatically goes through the sign-up process on forums, creates an account and then finds old threads, analyzes the text in them and then writes a response of words that it thinks are the best repsonse and throws on the advertising they are trying to push with this automated system.

The thing is, computer software can't make coherent responses in English so such threads are pretty easily identified but when the responses pile up when a bunch of bots hit at once it can take a bit to clean it all up.

Alright, I just have to laugh here, a topic on spam problems and someone has the guts to post a response with spam in it. Either a really stupid person or a really good bot has managed to sign up on the forums.

You guys must attract alot of hits or something wtf guys! Just kidding, but im still banning people. Seems whenever we draw alot of traffic to the main site, the forums get more idiots running about.
