Firefox 4 Beta 1 Released

Yes for those eager and willing to test it, Mozilla has released the first beta release for Firefox 4, aptly named Beta 1. It's available for download here and the biggest change is the new default layout for Firefox.

Now I can't stress enough, do not download this version of Firefox unless you're willing to deal with bugs and are willing to report problems to Mozilla, otherwise you're much better off sticking to a stable release. Also if you intend to install it, I strongly suggest keeping a current non-beta install of Firefox on your computer as well (as two versions can co-exist on your computer) so you do have something to switch to in case things go wrong. But with all that now out in the open, as long as you're willing to deal with things that go along with it being beta software, I would strongly suggest at least trying the new 4 release if you're an avid Firefox fan as it's definitely a snappy browser in terms of performance.
