Weekly Drawing contest #1

Nick gave me the idea, so now im doing it lol.

We will have a "theme" for what to draw during the week, and you draw that theme. Do whatever you want as long as it follows the theme. For example monsters or comics etc...

It will help you get better at drawing.

Whoever "wins" will get to choose the next theme to do.

rules are simple
-Have fun
-It has to be your own (it can be a sketch of another picture, but it cant be copied. For example trediddy and I both look at things then draw it, thats fine)

WEEK ONE theme:
Batman

Can be anything dealing with Batman, bats, darkness, detective work, do what you want.

Got something better, who ever wins this week will get a Navarro Uncharted 2 code, its for online play. Needs to be used by December and i dont want it.

how do i scan the drawing and get in on the computer because taking it with a camera doesnt show everything very nicely

Well you need a scanner, standalone or built-in to an all in one printer (almost all new inkjet printers come with scanners these days, they are usually located on top under a lid on the top of the inkjet printer), doesn't matter and the software to import the scan, Windows Photo Gallery does this fine (just go to File, then Import from Scanner or Camera, applies to Windows Vista), alternatively you can use Paint (go to file, then from scanner or camera, applies to Windows XP and Vista) or in Windows Live Photo Gallery (just go to File, the select Import from a scanner or a camera, applies to Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7 if the software has been installed).

Well you've got me beat by a mile, I'm nowhere near that close to something that good looking or taking that long, I simply don't have the patience, my attempt isn't even finished and well mine is in a state too embarrassing to post right now.

Well it's some version of Photoshop or similar software since the bottom bar and SaintAvi logo are digitally drawn, not hand drawn. It's not terribly difficult, you just need you own logo file and draw in bars to go with it. The actual sketch itself though is most likely hand-drawn and was scanned into a computer just like you did Trediddy, then after scanning, you just add the bar and logo/avatar and you have the end result.

Scanned in, then added the branding with 1 or 2 layers within photoshop
