PES 2008 Gets Higher Score on Xbox 360 Than PS3
Posted on October 25, 2007 by Victor Dangelo

In what is not really surprising news, the first gaming website in the UK to review the new PES 2008, Pro Evolution Soccer 2008, has given the Xbox 360 a much higher score than the PS3 version of the same game.

The UK gaming web site Pro-G reviewed the Xbox 360 game giving it a great score of a 9.0 on the basis that the game play, graphics, and sound were all phenomenal.

The PS3 version though as documented here at PCN a few days ago is not up to par with the Xbox 360 version of the game.

The PS3 version of the game was given a score of a 7.0. This has left a bad taste in the mouths of many PS3 owners in the UK and abroad as the Pro Evolution Soccer franchise is one of the most popular sports titles in the world. With past problems with the framerate problems in Madden from EA Sports and now PES 2008 from Konami, you have to wonder just how seriously these developers are taking the PS3.

Sound off in our forums here at PCN, what do you guys think about developers and their approach to PS3 games development?
