According to many reports apparently Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 on the Sony PS3 may not have framerate issues at all times as it may depend on the type of TV you have.

Many reports are now coming out stating that it depends on what type of TV you have in regards to the type of game experience you get when you play PES 2008.

Many HDTV owners are stating that they have no framerate issues with the game with the exception being during replays.

The game has many framerate issues but it appears that they may only be on standard definition TV displays since they are not able to put out the higher resolution the game demands.

This is a very interesting update as if this truly is the case Konami may be able to fix the game via an update over the PlayStation Network. This would mean that the framerate is merely just a bug having to do with the type of video output for the game.
