According to an insider at 2K Boston, the developer of BioShock, the game which was an Xbox 360 exclusive is heading to the PS3 for an early 2008 release.

This must be kept in the rumor pile until further notice but a blog has stated that someone inside 2K Boston informed them that BioShock is heading to the PS3 and will ship in Spring 2008.

The game was supposed to be an Xbox 360 exclusive. What many do not know is that it was a timed-exclusive. This means that once 6 months pass the game can be released on any platform, allowing it to release on the PS3.

This puts the spring release date in 2008 at perfect timing to put out BioShock on the next-gen PS3.

This must be kept as rumor as stated until direct confirmation from 2K Boston. It is looking very likely though that BioShock will be on the PS3 very soon.
