According to news from the retail front at EB Games and GameStop locations, Rock Band pre-orders will be filled, but following the initial shipment no other units will arrive until 2008.

Many GameStop and EB Games locations are getting just enough units to cover their pre-orders. Even some of the larger GameStop locations whose managers we spoke to stated that at the most, they will get 1 or 2 extra units in stock.

If you have not yet made a pre-order on Rock Band you may want to plan to get to a Best Buy or some other retail outlet very early on November 20.

EB Games and GameStop have put an end to the idea of having a midnight launch party at various locations as well. This is because financially it would not be worth it to them since they are not going to be getting any extra units.

GameStop managers have been notified that following the pre-order shipments, there will likely be no more units arriving until after Christmas.

If you want to avoid paying a fortune on eBay, you better get out there next week and get Rock Band before it is gone!
