Reports are stating that Rock Band has been delayed from releasing in Canada until after Christmas as the game has apparently been pushed back from its early December date.

This is likely going to be very aggravating for Canadian gamers who have already had to endure quite a long wait after the US release of Rock Band took place back on November 20th.

The game was originally supposed to release in Canada towards the middle of December as this week was supposed to be the launch week for the game.

Best Buy Canada as well as Future Shop are reporting though that Rock Band will not launch in Canada until December 28, 2007. This is another huge delay and kills any chance of the game being under the Christmas tree for Canadian gamers.

There is no reason yet for the delay but it could be due to defective guitars and drum sets which have been reported in the United States.
