Sony has come out and confirmed the release date for the upcoming SOCOM Confrontation on the PS3.

Sony stated that SOCOM Confrontation will release on September 16 on the PS3.

They also announced that they will be launching a brand new SOCOM.com as of today.

This will be an online community site for the game to provide news updates.

Once the game launches, it will be used to track clans, real-time stat tracking, etc.
