LittleBigPlanet is all about user created levels and we all have seen many people recreate other games in a fun way. Well don't get too used to these levels as Sony is now “moderating” every level put online. Moderating in a sense that anything that uses copyright material will be taken down and permanently deleted.

Any level that contains anything from Metal Gear Solid for example will be deleted without notice. Once the level is gone there is no way to get it back. Players will not even be given the opportunity to fix the level. So players spending hours crafting a Metal Gear look alike are pretty much wasting their time.

Many users are arguing this is unfair and ruins the fun of making your own levels, but its something that needs to be done to keep the game and Sony out of trouble. Sony promises to bring a better feedback area for deleted levels and will help make moderating more fair for everyone so at least we are being heard. There is still plenty users can do with LBP and this is merely a hiccup in the road.
