It was just the other day when Sony decided to release the official February 27, 2009 launch date for Killzone 2. However the announcement left many people wondering when the game will hit the rest of the world with the announcement only mentioning North America. Well no worries as G4 has just followed up with a surprise announcement from Sony.

Talking with G4, a representative from Sony Computer Entertainment Europe said, "we are targeting a similar timeframe for the release of Killzone 2 in the PAL regions; specific launch dates will be communicated at a later date."

This is very good news for our friends across the pond and could lead to several other region announcements coming soon. One thing is for sure, at least you won’t be waiting a full month for the game like you did with Resistance 2.
