CyberConnect2, the creative minds behind the PS3 exclusive Naruto game and the .hack series, have just launched a 7 day countdown on their homepage.  The countdown will most likely lead to the announcement of a new title.

Earlier, CC2 announced they were working on a game for 2009, completely original from their licensed anime games.  We speculated it could be a possible PS3 exclusive, as the company has only produced games for the PlayStation consoles in the past.  While sequels to either of the incredibly underrated Silent Bomber or Tail Concerto games would be great, don't hold your breath.

CC2's previous game, the PS3 exclusive Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm, had a good showing, being received well critically and selling over 110,000 copies it's first week in the US and Europe.  The title has still not been released in Japan yet, where it's expected to do even better.
