David Jaffe, creator of the God of War series, once described the latest entry of the franchise as a 'water painting come to life', something that easily blew every other game out of the water.  While that's yet to be seen, based on the VGA God of War III trailer, Jaffe assured naysayers that the game build he saw was 30%-40% better looking now.  And some select members of the press may soon be able to confirm that.

Sony has just confirmed they are holding an exclusive showing of God of War III early in February.  Unfortunately, only a select few members of both the American and European press are being invited to the event.  The showing is scheduled for February 10th.  Expect more info on the event to be released in the coming weeks.
