If anyone here happens to be highly anticipating about the PlayStation 3 exclusive Killzone 2 we have some news for you. The game has been canned and will no longer be released period. Ok calm down we are only joking and wanted to see what you would do when we said that. No the game isn't delayed or canceled, in fact its the complete opposite.

Word has just spread that the game has indeed gone GOLD. If you don't know what that means allow me to explain. Gold is the phrase of development where the publisher sends it off to be printed millions and millions of times then shipped out to local stores worldwide. The gold status is for all 3 regions, US, UK, and Japan. So it seems that the game will be on schedule for the February 25 and 27 release dates, but who knows how well supplied the game will be.

We have been given “tips” that some local Bestbuys have already received shipments of the game but the status is now official. So we all know what that means right? Go make some buddies with managers at your local gaming store now!

Also note that the press is free to review or report anything on the game from their press kits today, so spoilers will flood the net very soon. Just be aware.
