I feel that it is better than ng4.com which is for all platforms when i am only intrested in ps3 i also like how you can download ps3 themes and one thing that stands out to me is that the areticles are not biased so i know what games to buy and not to get and i know that it is a trustworthy source of infomation. This site is pretty easy to navigate and looks stunning. It responds quick and I love that. And what really takes the cake is how its designed to pretty much be PS3 themed. I have never seen a site with this much content. Its hard to get lost trust me I've tried lol. Nothing is to hard to look for, its easier to navigate than the officail playstation web site. You could spend a week trying to go through everything PCN has to offer and not see it all. Now, the staff and members. All of the PCN the staff that I have talked to are very nice, smart and insightful. I haven't met a single staff member here I haven't liked, and the same goes for the members as well, except for the spammers and the ones that joined just to cause trouble. One of them even went as far as calling PCN a front for Microsoft. XD But that is neither here nor there. PS3Center.net is a great site that has the potential to be ranked up there with Kotaku, 1UP, GameSpot, and many others. But the site is still somewhat young and I'd like to express my opinions on what could be improved upon. The biggest issue I can think of is PCN doesn't get their reviews out for some time after the said game has be released. Now I want to make it clear that I'm not saying the staff are slacking or anything like that. I know game companies are a b***h to work with at times and it takes time to play the game all the way through and then write out the review, but they take so long to get PCN's reviews that most people will have already read reviews of the game someplace else. The reviews from PCN are very well written, very detailed, and I enjoy reading them. They are just a little late to the game (no pun intended) by the time they are submitted Another thing is PCN used to post reviews of the latest DVD's, Blu-Ray movies, and a few gadgets from time to time. I thought they were great and set them apart from other gaming sites, but PCN no longer does that and I have to say I really wish they would bring them back. Right now, the points system is kind of like the reputation points the 360 has, which I think is cool, but, in the future, when we are able to purchase stuff with our points I assume we will lose however many points it takes to purchase the item. Now I imagine it might upset a few people (myself included) to see their hard earned points just disappear. What I suggest is that you let us all see the current points a member has and the total amount of points that person has earned. Well, I think that's all for my review of PCN.. If a person visits a site everyday it must mean someone somewhere has done something right, and I'm now going to talk about what I think has been done so well with the site. Firstly, the interface. When you first step foot into PCN and see that amazing XMB on the home page you are simply blown away. It's just so beautifully well done. It moves smoothly and responsibly without a single hitch what so ever. Plus, you have beautiful background that changes from time to time, and the picture really sets a tone for the site and kind of lets everyone know what's hot this month. Honestly I've never seen anything like that done so well on a website, and the XMB and background alone makes me want to come back to the site. It's not just the home page that impresses me with its design either. the entire site is beautiful and has a wonderful color scheme that works quite well, never making me feel as if the colors end up conflicting with one another. The forums are well done and the setup for it is one of the best setups i've even seen, period. Now without content, design is pretty much pointless. And I have to say content wise, PCN delivers. Not only are there thousands of screen shots but there are also videos, a godly amount of PS3 themes, a massive list of games and info on every single one of them, new news posted every day, long detailed reviews, previews, interviews, and articles about the latest gaming happenings. You could spend a week trying to go through everything PCN has to offer and not see it all. Now, the staff and members. All of the PCN the staff that I have talked to are very nice, smart and insightful. I haven't met a single staff member here I haven't liked, and the same goes for the members as well, except for the spammers and the ones that joined just to cause trouble. One of them even went as far as calling PCN a front for Microsoft. XD But that is neither here nor there. PS3Center.net is a great site that has the potential to be ranked up there with Kotaku, 1UP, GameSpot, and many others. But the site is still somewhat young and I'd like to express my opinions on what could be improved upon. The biggest issue I can think of is PCN doesn't get their reviews out for some time after the said game has be released. Now I want to make it clear that I'm not saying the staff are slacking or anything like that. I know game companies are a b***h to work with at times and it takes time to play the game all the way through and then write out the review, but they take so long to get PCN's reviews that most people will have already read reviews of the game someplace else. The reviews from PCN are very well written, very detailed, and I enjoy reading them. They are just a little late to the game (no pun intended) by the time they are submitted Another thing is PCN used to post reviews of the latest DVD's, Blu-Ray movies, and a few gadgets from time to time. I thought they were great and set them apart from other gaming sites, but PCN no longer does that and I have to say I really wish they would bring them back. Right now, the points system is kind of like the reputation points the 360 has, which I think is cool, but, in the future, when we are able to purchase stuff with our points I assume we will lose however many points it takes to purchase the item. Now I imagine it might upset a few people (myself included) to see their hard earned points just disappear. What I suggest is that you let us all see the current points a member has and the total amount of points that person has earned. Well, I think that's all for my review of PCN..
