One of the new features is the addition of co-operative play, allowing you and a friend to crap your pants together, both in the game's campaign mode and in the Mercenaries bonus mode. Now, Capcom is allowing for players to duke it out with each other as well.
Earlier today, Capcom officially announced that an online death match expansion would be available to download shortly after the game's release. Further details, such as the number of players, other versus modes, and release date, remain sketchy at the moment. The downloadable content will be available for $4.99 on the PS3.
